The Leake Career and Technical Center (formely called the Votec Center) is offering free carpentry training, and I thought you may know someone who would be interested in it. Registration is 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 10. Classes start August 11.
One must be 18 years old or older, unemployed or under-employed, registered with the Selective Serivce, and be able to pass a drug test.
